How to Remove Mirrors From Street Glide Harley Davidsons

When you think of motorcycles, Harley-Davidson likely runs through your mind at some point. Harley owners love their bikes and do everything they can to personalize their motorcycles. The Street Glide Harley-Davidsons are no different. If you want to customize your Street Glide by replacing the mirrors with upgraded ones, you must first remove the old mirrors from your motorcycle.

     Follow the stem that connects your mirror lens to the handlebars of the Street Glide from the lens to the handlebar to locate the mounting location of the mirror on the handlebar.

     Locate the nut on the other side of the handlebar and remove it with a wrench by turning it counterclockwise. Hold the mirror lens, so it does not fall as you remove the nut.

     Pull upward on the mirror lens to remove the threaded portion of the stem from the handle bar.
